Job Description:

We are seeking an Integration/Test Engineer to join our Engineering Test Support team at our Wilmington, MA facility. As an Integration/Test Engineer you will collaborate with technical teams to deliver across a broad range of engineering efforts, including technical proposal responses, systems / hardware test configurations and development. The ideal candidate for this role will have Thermal and Vacuum System I&T experience in the configuration and operation of test subsystems and systems within a Thermal Vacuum Environment. Assist in verification testing and development of required test support equipment. Experience supporting a cross functional team as part of a test campaign for EO Space System Payload. To include Environmental Space Simulation using thermal vacuum chambers and Vibration/Launch/Shock loads.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Ability to provide input and assist in the coordination of technical input across multi-disciplinary engineering teams for system level detailed test plan development.
  • Applies Thermal/Mechanical, standards, principles, theories, concepts, and techniques to validate complex electro optical payloads and overall satellite space vehicles.
  • Understand test flow and their requirements across Space flight hardware for subsystems and critical ground support equipment.
  • Support Preliminary Design Reviews (PDR), Critical Design Reviews (CDR), development of system level test flows for Test content. 
  • Support the Program Test Director for UUT in Thermal Vacuum.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or other related field with 0 to 1 years of prior related experience. 
  • Experienced in the use of Microsoft MS Tools, Visio, Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to obtain an Interim Secret Security Clearance, US Citizenship mandatory requirement.
  • Ability to obtain a Secret Clearance.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Active Top Secret Security Clearance
  • Prior experience working on a multi-disciplinary engineering team.
  • Experience with environmental space simulation (TVAC) and equivalent launch energy testing (Vibe) of exquisite electro-optical satellite flight hardware systems.
  • Ability to Troubleshoot complex thermal vacuum and electromechanical test equipment.
