Primary Responsibilities 

  • Completing ERP transactions for inventory pertaining to shipments (Putaway’s, Picking of Parts, Shipment Confirmations)
  • Coordination with Quality Assurance for Certificate of Conformance’s
  • Responsible for supporting inventory cycle counts
  • Material handling
  • Packing & Processing Shipments
  • Interacting with Carriers and loading their trucks when required
  • Maintaining a high level of Inventory Accuracy
  • Packing Case Ordering from the offsite Warehouse and ensuring all case stock are at the min/max level at all times
  • Becoming the Subject Matter Expert (SME) back up of Logistics ERP sessions
  • Putting away turrets physically to the Finished Goods Area and Picking Parts from the Finished Goods Area
  • Labelling Shipments with Shipment Labels and Picture Taking of Shipment, and uploading pictures to LN
  • Working confidently with external customers – internal and external to Wescam
  • Drive Forklift and putting cases away onto high density racking
  • Understanding Dangerous Goods
  • Ordering Fedex Supplies and Dock Supplies

  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and to tight deadlines     
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and investigative ability
  • Strong communications skills including building strong relationships with people at all levels
  • Be able to meet the physical demands, carrying and lifting 15kgs
  • Forklift driver or ability to obtain forklift licence

 

 

Education and Experience 

  • Requires developing job knowledge/skills.
  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or;
  • 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience
