About the Role
The Senior Associate, Configuration Management is responsible for supporting configuration management (CM) activities throughout the service phase of the product lifecycle. This role ensures the Configuration Management processes related to Status Accounting and Audit are consistently applied to maintain accurate product configurations in alignment with contractual requirements, Configuration Management best practices, and Quality Standards
Primary Responsibilities
- Maintain and update Product Configuration data from delivery through decommission.
- Review daily reports to identify required updates to ERP system based on As Built BOM changes from Manufacturing Execution System (MES).
- Action daily ERP updates from autogenerated notifications out of MES.
- Perform corrections and upload historical records in ERP as requested from Customer Service or Program Management teams.
- Support urgent repair-related configuration updates as needed.
- Ensure accuracy of As-maintained baseline.
- Transfer and update released service-related documentation from PLM into ERP system.
- Provide Configuration Management guidance to internal stakeholders.
- Support departmental projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Skills:
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint etc.)
- Understanding of product lifecycle and Configuration Management principles.
- CMII Certification an asset.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Ability to handle high-volume workloads with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills with personnel at all levels.
- Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Quick learner with strong aptitude for new systems and tools.
Desired Education and Experiences
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience, and in lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
