From long-range covert surveillance missions to search and rescue operations, our MX-series systems, and the mission systems solutions they are a part of, produce stabilized high-magnification electro1-optical and infrared images from airborne, marine and ground based platforms, enabling our customers to see first and act first.

 

 

About the Role

You will have the opportunity to engage with engineers from various departments. Your primary task will be to support systems solutions projects/programs and evaluation of ruggedized Line Replaceable Units (LRU). This role requires someone with an outgoing personality, strong communications skills and attention to detail.

 

 

Primary Responsibilities 

  • Generate and revise systems engineering documentation, such as specifications, interface control documents, statements of work, schematics using our change control process
  • Develop, document and execute detailed test procedures for hardware and software functionality
  • Write thorough reports documenting the results of those tests as well as those performed by others
  • Organize, coordinate and track compliance status of requirement verification activities
  • Occasionally use electronic equipment such as digital oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, etc.
  • Support Bids & Proposals activities with technical queries and compliance matrices
  • Occasionally perform functional tests on products in laboratory

 

 

Required Capabilities 

  • Excellent report writing skills
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications
  • Ability to work with many engineers to coordinate interdepartmental efforts
  • Good understanding of both Mechanical and Electrical aspects of Engineering
  • Experience with electro-mechanical systems, optic or laser devices is an asset but not required
  • Able to problem solve and make consistent progress on tasks independently

 

 

Desired Education and Experiences 

  • Enrollment in a Bachelors or Advanced degree in Engineering or Science program
  • Must be able to complete a 16 month Co-Op term with 12 month terms occasionally being available
