From long-range covert surveillance missions to search and rescue operations, our MX-series systems, and the mission systems solutions they are a part of, produce stabilized high-magnification electro-optical and infrared images from airborne, marine and ground based platforms, enabling our customers to see first and act first.
About the Role
Supports the execution of new orders throughout the program lifecycle from kick off, through build and delivery. Prepares documents, spreadsheets, reports and presentations. Creates and/or maintains appropriate logs, databases, inventories, filing (hard or soft copy) and provides status reports/tracking. May perform some research or data analysis tasks. May schedule and coordinate meetings in support of order execution as directed. Works with internal customers in other functions within the business and may work with external customers in support of order execution.
Primary Responsibilities
- Support Program Manager in day to day management of programs
- Formulate techniques for data collection to ensure tracking review and acceptance of data
- Devise and implement efficient procedures for data handling and analysis
- Establish rules and procedures for data sharing with team members, external stakeholders etc.
- Support others in the daily use of data systems and ensure adherence to legal and company standards
- Assist with reports and data extraction when needed
- Generate and maintain Customer Orders, Delivery Lists and purchase requisitions as required
- Attend daily status meetings
- Close out customer orders, set up warranty projects and perform hand off to In Service Team
- Manage and track material procurement (subcontracts) in support of order execution
- Tracking of material and program costs
- Support program meetings including meeting documentation, Technical Progress Reviews with internal and external customers and tracking of action item
- Generate letter of transmittal for deliverables to customers
- Support the procurement of special tools/equipment as required to support contractual obligations to the program
- Create, update and monitor major program data submittals such as SDRL’s/CDRL’s, action item logs, etc.
Required Capabilities
- Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to handle multiple tasks and effectively balance priorities
- Ability to deal directly with internal and external customers
- Experience with Microsoft Office tools with emphasis on Word, Excel and MS Project
- Experience working with an ERP toolset.
- Knowledge in formal documentation formatting, filing and tracking techniques
- Fluency in current Product Data Management standards with the ability to review contract SOWs to determine appropriate application of procedures is an asset
- Ability to organize and coordinate formal meetings - including the recording of action items
- Experience in shipping and waybill tracking
- Good communication and problem solving skills
- Detail oriented individual utilizing Product Data Management tools and performing the preparation of contract data item submittals
- Some experience or exposure to program management concepts such as schedules, budgets and risks
- Understanding of configuration management processes
Desired Education and Experiences
- Post Secondary Diploma in Business Administration (or equivalent experience) with a minimum of 4 years prior related experience
- Prior experience in the field of Product Data Management including experience with project and systems engineering techniques an asset.
- Prior experience with Manufacturing / Engineering process and / or technical background an asset
