Job Description:
The Program Scheduler Manager ensures major projects and program schedules and plans are integrated across company functional groups including finance, engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality.
Essential Functions:
- Performs schedule analysis in support of assigned programs or projects.
- Ensures major projects and program schedules and plans are integrated across company functional groups including finance, engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality.
- Tracks plans and schedules, performs risk analysis, identifies and resolves critical path and network logic conflicts.
- Utilizes Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, earned value management and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas.
- Ensures compliance with internal program procedures and project control system guidelines.
- May lead or participate in scheduling status reviews.
- Manages manpower and mentorship requirements for scheduling group.
- Ability to interface and influence at all levels of the organization.
- Able to work within tight deadlines and multi-task various projects in an organized manner required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years prior related experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
- Minimum 2 years experience on programs with responsibility for development and execution of the IMS, including setup, baseline management and update/maintenance, schedule analysis, critical path analysis, SRAs, and CDRL deliveries.
- Minimum 2 years experience with schedule health metrics (e.g. DCMA 14 point check) and Schedule Metric Analysis – such as BEI, CPLI, SPI, etc.
- Must be a US citizen.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Active Secret security clearance.
- EVMS (Earned Value) experience.
- Strong communication and leadership skills (written, verbal, presentation).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel (pivot tables), Project, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Critical thinking and problem solving, attention to detail and quality of product deliverables.
