Job Description:

Leads and directs experienced professionals. Communicates within and outside of organization to explain and influence changes to policies, practices, or approaches. Makes significant improvements in processes, systems, or products. Establishes short-term operational plans with measurable contribution to function or business area results. Requires management and leadership knowledge in job area and comprehensive knowledge within professional discipline.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Performs schedule analysis in support of assigned programs or projects.
  • Ensures major projects and program schedules and plans are integrated across company functional groups including finance, engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality.
  • Tracks plans and schedules, performs risk analysis, identifies and resolves critical path and network logic conflicts.
  • Utilizes Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, earned value management and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas.
  • Ensures compliance with internal program procedures and project control system guidelines.
  • May lead or participate in scheduling status reviews.
  • Manages manpower and mentorship requirements for scheduling group.
  • Other duties as assigned

 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 8 years prior related experience or Graduate Degree with a minimum of 6 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
  • Experience with schedule health metrics (e.g. DCMA 14 point check) and Schedule Metric Analysis – such as BEI, CPLI, SPI, etc.
  • U.S. Citizenship required. Prefer candidate possesses a Secret security clearance however must be able to obtain one, if not

  • Ability to interface and influence at all levels of the organization
  • Able to work within tight deadlines and multi-task various projects in an organized manner required
  • Critical thinking and problem solving, attention to detail and quality of product deliverables
  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft Project, Excel, Excel Pivot Tables, Word and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated Experience on programs with responsibility for development and execution of the IMS, including setup, baseline management and update/maintenance, schedule analysis, critical path analysis, SRAs, and CDRL deliveries.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills (written, verbal, presentation).
  • Competent computer skills related to Microsoft office, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • United States citizen.
  • EVMS experience
