Job Description:

The Human Resources summer intern will support the HR team and business leaders in executing talent-related initiatives that align with business objectives. This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in human resources while contributing to projects that enhance employee engagement, workforce planning, and overall business results. The intern will work closely with HR professionals and client groups to support key initiatives and develop practical knowledge of HR practices in a professional environment. 

Essential Functions:

• Partner with client groups to build and execute upon talent plans in achievement of overall business strategy, objectives and goals
• Identify and diagnose issues proactively and develop, recommend and implement root cause solutions that enhance employee engagement/experience and business results in a timely manner
• Participate and/or lead projects and special initiatives within and outside the HR function as assigned
• Promote high professional standards, positive interpersonal relationships and demonstrates L3Harris core values strong understanding and knowledge of business analytics to enable and influence leaders to make sound talent decisions and promote employee engagement and healthy/positive/productive employee relations

Qualifications:

• To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing a Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management or related field.

Preferred Skills:

• Some experience with Performance Management, Employee Relations, Staffing, Compensation, Diversity, and Organizational/ManagementDevelopment
• Efficiency in MS Office software products like Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Experience working in a matrixed environment
• Proficiency in HRIS systems such as PeopleSoft
