L3 Harris is actively seeking a direct hire opportunity as a Sr. Associate Systems Integration Test Engineer (TE). The position has competitive benefits. The TE will be responsible for performing systems test engineering tasks associated with aircraft modernization, maintenance and new aircraft systems integration and testing
Essential Functions:
- The applicant shall be flexible and willing to work any shift required to support efficient and effective program execution.
- Develop and execute software quality methods, processes, and standards to ensure consistent product performance and compliance.
- Implement tests, methods, and procedures that support the continuous improvement of software quality assurance processes.
- Support the development and integration of avionics, communications, and mission systems across multiple assigned platforms.
- Author detailed test procedures and perform System Operation and Verification Testing (SOVT) for avionics, communications, cockpit systems, special mission systems, and navigation equipment.
- Apply proficiency with standard and advanced electronic test equipment, as well as test-related software, to support system integration and verification activities.
- Provide support for future business opportunities, including avionics systems development and integration for military applications.
- Collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and communicate technical information clearly to customers, subcontractors, and other internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrate and uphold the highest standards of ethics, professionalism, and accountability in all interactions and work products.
- Apply a solid understanding of basic electrical theory and the use of electronic test equipment, including digital voltmeters, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, RF signal generators, RF power meters, and network analyzers, in the testing of RF systems and mixed-signal products.
- Read and interpret block diagrams, wiring diagrams, and circuit schematics to troubleshoot and isolate component- and system-level malfunctions.
- Travel up to 50% as required, primarily within the United States, with the potential for OCONUS assignments.
- Work flexible schedules, including any shift, weekends, and overtime, as needed to meet business and program objectives.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years of prior aircraft systems test engineering experience. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 6 years of prior aircraft systems test engineering experience.
- With an H/S or GED you must have minimum of 8 years’ aircraft systems test engineering experience.
- Experience supporting test, integration, verification, or validation activities for avionics, communications, mission systems, or other complex electronic systems.
- Experience developing, documenting, and executing test procedures, including System Operation and Verification Testing (SOVT).
- Ability to write test procedures and reports based on system requirements, FAA guidance, military standards, or program-specific requirements.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience troubleshooting and isolating hardware, software, and system-level issues in a lab, production, or field environment.
- Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards, professionalism, and accountability.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%, primarily within the United States, with potential for OCONUS travel.
- Flexibility to work any shift, weekends, and overtime as required to meet program and business objectives.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds or if lift weight is over, employee must utilize a lift team of two people; the load should only be increased by two thirds the sums of their individual weight.
- Verify, test, troubleshoot electrical systems for conformance to specifications and perform repair, removal and reinstallation of wiring as necessary.
- Be able to work in confined spaces of the aircraft.
- Applicant must have a Minimum Active Secret Security Clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret Security Clearance. Top Secret preferred.
