Job Description:

As an Exercise Planner, you will be responsible for developing, executing, and sustaining training focused on Joint Enterprise Life Cycle (JELC) and JELC-Elite processes.  This role ensures planners are equipped with the knowledge and skills to execute complex multi-domain planning for Tier 1 – 3 exercises through theoretical learning, practical exercises, and real-world application.

Essential Functions:

•       Apply expertise in the five stages of the Joint Enterprise Life Cycle (JELC) and the four stages to support mission planning and execution.
•        Utilize knowledge of Joint Publications and Space Force Instructions (SPFI) to ensure compliance with joint doctrine and operational standards.
•        Leverage proficiency with key tools and systems, including Joint Training Tool (JTL), Task Management Tool (TMT), Joint Event Management Information Systems (JEMIS), Lessons Learned databases, and Defense Readiness Reporting System – Strategic (DRRS-S).
•        Participate in and support recurring battle rhythm events to synchronize planning efforts with operational requirements.
•        Execute development and advanced planning tasks to ensure effective integration of lessons learned and best practices.
•        Apply knowledge gained from theoretical, practical, and real-world applications to plan and execute complex, multi-domain exercises.
•        Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment with mission objectives and operational priorities.

Required Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI Clearance required.
• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
• Experience with Joint Doctrine and Joint Planning 5.0.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $125,000 - $232,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
