Job Description:
As an Exercise Planner, you will be responsible for developing, executing, and sustaining training focused on Joint Enterprise Life Cycle (JELC) and JELC-Elite processes. This role ensures planners are equipped with the knowledge and skills to execute complex multi-domain planning for Tier 1 – 3 exercises through theoretical learning, practical exercises, and real-world application.

Essential Functions:
- Apply expertise in the five stages of the Joint Enterprise Life Cycle (JELC) and the four stages to support mission planning and execution.
- Utilize knowledge of Joint Publications and Space Force Instructions (SPFI) to ensure compliance with joint doctrine and operational standards.
- Leverage proficiency with key tools and systems, including Joint Training Tool (JTL), Task Management Tool (TMT), Joint Event Management Information Systems (JEMIS), Lessons Learned databases, and Defense Readiness Reporting System – Strategic (DRRS-S).
- Participate in and support recurring battle rhythm events to synchronize planning efforts with operational requirements.
- Execute development and advanced planning tasks to ensure effective integration of lessons learned and best practices.
- Apply knowledge gained from theoretical, practical, and real-world applications to plan and execute complex, multi-domain exercises.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment with mission objectives and operational priorities.
Required Qualifications:
- Active TS/SCI Clearance required.
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
- Experience with Joint Doctrine and Joint Planning 5.0.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $125,000 - $232,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
