Job Title: Senior Associate, Software Engineering

Job Description:
· Perform operational analysis and develop concept of operations, design and implementation plans
· Develop test plans, procedures & cases
· Conduct tests and document results
· Use software tools, scripting and software/hardware troubleshooting
· Analyze systems requirements from end systems and users
· Supports development and evaluation of complex system designs and architectures
· Develop and deliver presentations to communicate design activity plans and status to internal and external customers
Qualifications:
· Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Aviation, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
· Coursework and/or experience in systems engineering, systems architecture, systems analysis and design, system performance modeling, integration and/or project management, and/or model-based systems engineering
· Familiar with Rhapsody .
§ Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship.
Preferred Additional Skills:
§ Knowledge and experience in advanced Optical Systems, EO/IR Sensors, or ISR applications.
§ Background in developing systems model and modeling software architecture using Cameo Enterprise Architecture, Cameo Systems Modeler, MagicDraw, or similar SysML development tool.
§ Verification and Validation (V&V) experience or Integration and Test (I&T) experience and use of test planning tools (e.g., LabView, TestStand).
§ Proficiency in hardware/software integration, with the ability to collaborate with hardware engineers and software developers to ensure seamless integration of subsystems and components.
§ Proficiency in one or more programming languages, scripting languages, data-loggers, or advanced excel data analyses.
§ Knowledge and experience in the Aerospace/Defense sector.
§ Environmental Testing / Qualification (ESS) experience.
§ Experience working under an AS9100 / ISO9001 Quality Management System.
§ Familiarity with INCOSE and the Systems Engineering Book of Knowledge (SEBOK)
§ Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or similar degree path preferred.
§ Excellent oral and written communication skills.
§ Strong organizational and time management skills.
§ Ability to work independently and as a member of a multi-disciplined integrated product team (IPT).
