About the Role 

This Manufacturing Supervisory role will lead a team of skilled manufacturing technicians by providing daily work direction and scheduling to achieve manufacturing deliverables.

 

 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Accountable for ensuring manufacturing cells obtain all the information, training, direction, and support required to meet operational delivery and quality requirements
  • Responsible for distributing and monitoring the workloads of the team while ensuring that staffing levels are balanced with workload requirements  
  • Assist in solving problems and ensure stakeholders are informed as to the delivery status of product on a regular basis 
  • Act as a liaison between the various Operations, Engineering & Quality departments and support the scheduling requirements of the Manufacturing cells
  • Responsible for setting team performance metrics and ensuring targets are realized
  • Foster and encourage a continuous improvement environment
  • Enable and promote a One Operations Team culture

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in a leadership role in a high-tech manufacturing environment
  • Operations Management Diploma or Undergraduate Degree in related discipline
