Job Description:
Integrated Vision Solutions (IVS) is looking for a highly motivated operations-focused finance professional with strong business acumen to manage a finance team at its Tempe, AZ location. This accomplished self-starter would be responsible for analyzing and reporting on all key financial aspects of the site including cost and revenue, bids and proposals, operations KPIs and working capital while partnering with finance leadership and the site GM. This role will also be responsible for managing operating expenditure, Capex, and forecasting annual G&A and OH Rates. The position is also the primary interface for providing strategic guidance to new business acquisition through the bids and proposals process. This critical leadership role will look to implement process enhancements which are critical to achieve the financial goals of the organization, with a focus on translating data and making recommendations to the IVS leadership team for operational improvement. Role will require collaboration and engagement with all functions to develop and maintain budget targets and will inform recommendations on tools and processes to sustain accountability.
Essential Functions:
- Partner with Director of Operations and other key leaders to ensure production line execution runs seamlessly and efficiently. Monitor production capacity, labor utilization, inventory and scrap rates to optimize throughput and financial results.
- Partner with Business Development on new business acquisition strategies and administration.
- Provide site leadership with critical analysis and recommendations using data-based analytics.
- Tracking and analyzing site indirect budgets as well as indirect rate forecasting (Overhead, G&A).
- Cost management and KPI tracking for all operations/manufacturing metrics.
- Forecast and drive actions to improve inventory balances and cash flows.
- Frequent presentation on business performance to the IVS Leadership Team.
- Identify and lead process improvement plans and initiatives.
- Assisting with Annual Operating Plan and Joint Strategic Plan.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Travel occasionally required (10%).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
- Experience with financial oversight in a high-rate production environment.
- Experience in being a People Leader and oversight of departmental budgeting concepts.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Inventory Management experience highly preferred.
- Proficient in MS Excel and database analytics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills – focus on defining future scenarios and/or operational actions.
- Ability to work collaboratively across department.
- Familiarity with Cognos, Costpoint and SharePoint, or similar.
