Job Description:

 Assist a production team to efficiently process work in accordance with a production plan and to promote and deliver high quality output. Works with Operations Management to execute in accordance a system of manufacturing standards and follow company policies and procedures. Encourages team members to drive continual improvement in their production area using available tool sets. Act as the point of contact for questions in their assigned production area.

Essential Functions:

• Communicate effectively with team members in assigned areas as well as with others outside the department
• Ability to work on assignments requiring judgment and initiative
• Act as a mentor to lower-level peers and provide guidance on tasks
• Ability to work/support repetitive and/or continuous motions, tasks
• Ability to clearly read, write and understand English (required) 

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-secondary/associate's degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Read and understand drawings/blueprints/work instructions
• Ability to use chemicals and solvents (isopropyl alcohol, toluene, acetone, slurry compound)
• Bending, stooping, kneeling, or crouching as necessary
• Manual Dexterity
• Ability to consistently hit goals, i.e. daily, weekly, monthly
• Basic compound microscope use skills
