Job Description:

Work in a cleanroom environment supporting the production of microchannel plates. In this role, you will operate specialized tools and equipment, perform machine setup and routine preventive maintenance, and use electronic systems to track product movement and production data.

Essential Functions:

• Work in a cleanroom environment while following all cleanroom protocols, including required PPE and bunny suit procedures.
• Operate hand tools, microscopes, and manufacturing equipment according to established work instructions and documented procedures.
• Perform machine setup, operation, and minor preventive maintenance tasks.
• Follow policies, procedures, and technical drawings to ensure product quality and accuracy.
• Conduct visual inspections and identify nonconforming parts in accordance with standard processes.
• Meet production goals while maintaining high quality standards.
• Accurately enter and track data using Microsoft Office and other electronic systems.
• Work effectively both independently and as part of a team with minimal supervision.
• Communicate clearly and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Remain in stationary position for extended periods as required.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 4 years prior experience, 2 year post-secondary/AA Degree and 0-2 years prior experience

Preferred Additional Skills:

• 2–4 years of manufacturing experience.
• Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
• Ability to move 3–5 pounds and perform repetitive tasks.
• Reliable attendance and strong dependability.
• Self-motivated with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Comfortable using computers, including Microsoft Office, email, and data entry systems.
