We are seeking a results-driven Program Manager to lead and oversee all phases of program execution—from inception to delivery—within a portfolio supporting U.S. Special Operations Forces (SOF). You will be the primary point of contact for customers, responsible for ensuring cost, schedule, and technical performance across multiple high-visibility and proprietary programs.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead program planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring alignment with customer requirements and business goals.
  • Serve as the main customer interface, conducting program reviews and maintaining strong relationships with USSOCOM and SOFWERX.
  • Drive proposal development, contract negotiations, and change management.
  • Monitor project milestones, solve issues, and allocate resources effectively.
  • Direct cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, and admin disciplines.
  • Guide innovation by improving processes and supporting new product and technology development.
  • Support site operations including logistics, security, and facility coordination.
  • Provide strategic input to senior leadership based on program performance and market insights.

 

Ideal Candidate:

  • Strong background in program or project management, preferably with experience in defense or SOF-related programs.
  • Skilled in customer engagement, risk management, and cross-functional leadership.
  • Capable of managing and working in an environment that is fast-paced, demanding, with a focus on problem resolution and process improvement.
  • Ability to manage classified/proprietary work and interface at high organizational levels.

 

Required Experience:

  • Active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance (SCI Eligible) to start and the ability to maintain the stated clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship.
  • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 15 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
  • In lieu of a degree, minimum of 19 years of prior related experience.
  • Demonstrated experience with resource planning, operational requirements development, systems acquisition and modernization program management. 
  • Demonstrated project management skills including, negotiation, organizational, time management, and leadership.
  • Demonstrated acquisition and programming experience at a combined SOF Headquarters level
  • Demonstrated experience in a senior executive role managing multiple acquisition programs (budget, requirements, contract award, and execution).
  • Demonstrated experience managing special access programs & technologies.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of manpower planning, milestone scheduling, PM tools, and related financial management.

 

Preferred Experience:

  • Demonstrated aircraft fixed wing operations and/or production experience
  • Demonstrated experience with SAP and material processes.
