Job Description:

The L3Harris Enterprise Automation team is seeking a Specialist, Application Development with advanced expertise in Robotic Process Automation (RPA). The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Business Analysts (BA), Blue Prism admins and business owners of business processes—to design and deliver intelligent automation solutions that drive efficiency and scalability across the enterprise.

 

As a Specialist, Application Development, you will be responsible for automating complex business processes using automation platform Blue Prism. You will play a pivotal role in advancing L3Harris' enterprise automation strategy, streamlining operations, and enabling greater business impact through automation.


Essential Functions:

 

  • Partner with Business Analysts and stakeholders to evaluate business objectives, clarify requirements, and translate them into impactful RPA solutions.
  • Design and develop scalable, efficient automation solutions with a strong understanding of enterprise standards and sound technical judgment.
  • Apply RPA best practices across solution architecture, component reuse, and quality assurance; actively contribute to design and code reviews to ensure compliance and maintainability.
  • Deliver detailed solution designs, develop and test automations, and support post-deployment operations to ensure performance and reliability.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation, including Solution Design Documents and operational guides, to support ongoing maintenance and knowledge sharing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between project deliverables and business expectations, helping drive adoption and measurable outcomes.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years prior relevant experience or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of degree, minimum 8 years of prior related experience.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with the Blue Prism automation platform, including design, development, and deployment of RPA solutions.


Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with business stakeholders to gather and refine functional requirements, working under moderate supervision.
  • Proficient in developing RPA solutions using platforms such as Blue Prism, UiPath, or similar automation tools.
  • Familiarity with integrating RPA solutions with APIs, OCR technologies, and web services; experience in this area is preferred.
  • Proven hands-on experience delivering automation solutions for enterprise-scale business processes.
  • Knowledge of key components and deliverables within the Blue Prism Robotic Operating Model (ROM).
  • Exposure to integrating AI and machine learning algorithms into RPA workflows to manage unstructured data and support advanced decision-making.
  • Understanding of complex business processes within large-scale enterprise environments.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in fast-paced, high-pressure settings.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, strong problem-solving and analytical skills and ability to work under moderate supervision as a part of the team.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems like SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL.
  • Holds relevant industry certifications such as Blue Prism Developer, UiPath Advanced RPA Developer, or equivalent credentials in enterprise automation.

 

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $79,000-$146,500. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, and Vermont is $69,000-$128,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
