Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive and skilled HRSD Architect / Delegated Developer to enhance our ServiceNow HRSD (Human Resource Service Delivery) platform. This role will partner closely with the ServiceNow platform owner and our managed service provider to drive strategic HR initiatives and support day-to-day HRSD operations. Key responsibilities include gathering requirements from HR stakeholders, prioritizing platform enhancements to improve HR service delivery and user experience, developing low-code / no-code solutions in compliance with governance standards, managing third-party developer changes, leading enhancement unit and user acceptance testing, reporting development, and keeping up to date with new HRSD features and functionalities.
Essential Functions:
- Build and configure applications, forms, portals and dashboards within the ServiceNow HRSD platform.
- Automate HR processes using Flow Designer, Workflow Editor and Business Rules to streamline service delivery.
- Collaborate with HR stakeholders to understand business requirements and process improvement opportunities, translating business needs into technical specifications and user stories.
- Maintain a backlog of enhancement requests and partner with HR Leaders to prioritize them based on key business impact, strategic goals, and timelines.
- Facilitate regular check-ins and collaborate with third-party development partners to align project priorities, monitor progress, and ensure timely delivery of enhancements, clearly communicating business requirements and project milestones.
- Design, facilitate, and validate user acceptance testing (UAT), regression testing and system integration testing for new configurations and updates with key stakeholders.
- Support data integrity within HRSD by developing audits and validations. Build and maintain reports and dashboards to provide insights into HR service metrics.
- Stay up to date with the latest HRSD features and functionality, effectively communicating platform updates and new features to stakeholders.
- Provide frontline support for HRSD platform users, troubleshooting issues and answering inquiries.
- Provide training and create documentation to promote HRSD and knowledge best practices.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience working with ServiceNow HRSD building and configuring applications, forms, portals and dashboards using Flow Designer, Workflow Editor and Business Rules.
- Completion of ServiceNow Citizen Developer Core Skills Micro-Certification Suite or equivalent low-code development certification required; Certified Implementation Specialist – Human Resources (CIS-HR) strongly preferred.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field preferred and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Knowledge of HR processes and best practices for HR service delivery, Employee Center Pro, knowledge bases, and Now Assist.
- Hands-on experience working with low-code/no-code development tools in ServiceNow, preferably in the GCCH environment.
- Solid understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture, including how it integrates with other enterprise systems including PeopleSoft HCM and SAP SuccessFactors.
- Knowledge of roles and permissions model within ServiceNow with clear differentiation between developer users and general/business users.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $82,500 - $153,000. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, and Vermont is $71,500 - $132,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
