Job Description:

We are seeking an HR Systems Analyst with 2+ years of experience to join our HRIS Applications team supporting and optimizing our core HR technology platforms, including SuccessFactors, PeopleSoft, and ServiceNow HRSD ticket management. This role is ideal for an early-career analyst with 2+ years’ experience who is eager to grow their technical and functional expertise while contributing to a high-performing, collaborative team.

The HR Systems Analyst will provide tier-one production support, assist with system administration and monitoring, and contribute to enhancements, releases and projects that improve HR processes and employee experience. You will work alongside experienced analysts and HR partners, gaining exposure to systems analysis principles, release management, integrations and vendor collaboration, while building a strong foundation in enterprise HR technology.

The ideal candidate is analytical, curious, solution-oriented, system-minded, collaborative and able to think critically with minimal direction.

 

Essential Functions:

  • System Support & Production Operations
    • Provide tier-one support for HR applications by troubleshooting issues, resolving incidents per SLA & case management standards, and managing HR Service Desk tickets through resolution.
    • Partner with HR functional teams to support day-to-day system usage and address technical questions.
    • Monitor system health, scheduled jobs, data feeds, and integrations to ensure stability and performance.
    • Support production releases by validating changes, assisting with deployments, and performing post-release checks.
    • Document issues, resolutions, and procedures to support knowledge sharing and operational consistency.
    • Assist with monitoring and supporting inbound and outbound integrations between HR systems and third-party vendors.
    • Understand how employee data flows and is updated between various systems.
    • Submit, track and manage vendor support tickets, helping drive issues and enhancement requests to timely resolution.
    • Understand and adhere to system escalation practices to quickly identify and prioritize issues and route to the appropriate parties.
  • Enhancements, Projects & Optimization
    • Assist in translating HR business requirements into system solutions.
    • Participate in testing activities, including functional, regression, and user acceptance testing.
    • Contribute to system enhancements and small-to-medium project work, including configuration updates, data changes, and process improvements, following HR PMO guidelines.
    • Support release management activities, including change tracking, documentation, and coordination with team members.
    • Learn and apply systems analysis best practices to help improve solution quality and user experience.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Develop working knowledge of HR Systems tools, technologies, and the broader HR technology roadmap.
    • Stay curious about emerging HR technology capabilities, especially around AI HR applications, and contribute to ideas for automation, efficiency, and innovation.
    • Grow toward becoming a trusted technical advisor within the HRIS team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Accounting, Finance or related field and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent Accounting, Finance or related field with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience.
  • Minimum 1 year working in either PeopleSoft HRMS or SuccessFactors

 

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • 2+ years’ experience working in either SuccessFactors, PeopleSoft, ServiceNow HRSD or similar HR platforms
  • SuccessFactors certifications (Recruiting, Onboarding 2.0, Goals, Performance, Compensation, and/or Learning)
  • Proficient understanding of release management or change management processes
  • Proficient understanding of systems analysis best practices
  • Interest in building a long-term career in HR technology or systems analysis
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $59,000-$110,000. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, and Vermont is $51,000-$95,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
