Job Description:
Experienced Software Engineer / Web Developer to create C# .NET Windows services and web applications for internal use by L3Harris business segments. Support web architecture, legacy applications, enterprise-wide applications and software upgrades.
Essential Functions:
- Develop and maintain C# .NET applications using Visual Studio within an Agile Scrum team.
- Evaluate and recommend improvements for web architecture and processes.
- Troubleshoot, upgrade, and rewrite web applications developed both in-house and by external developers.
- Provide operational and maintenance support for enterprise-wide web applications.
- Maintain Jenkins pipelines to support CI/CD processes.
- Use GIT/SVN for source control and JIRA for issue tracking.
- Conduct code reviews using Bitbucket.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years prior Palantir experience or Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior Palantir experience In lieu of degree, minimum 13 years of prior Palantir experience.
- 7+ years of experience with C#.NET, MVC, CSS, JavaScript, and JQuery
- 2+ years of experience with Web APIs and/or Windows Services
- 2+ years of experience working on a Scrum/Agile team
- 2+ years of experience using GIT/SVN/TFS
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Senior or lead developer on a medium to large project
- Must be able to write maintainable code.
- Must be able to self-start and solve problems quickly.
- Ability to create user-friendly front-end user experience.
- Good organizational skills, excellent problem-solving skills, excellent communication skills, and a willingness to work with teams.
- Ability to learn new skills, meet deadlines, embrace new technologies, and follow process.
- Capable of gathering and interpreting requirements, have used source control, and can review code, locate problems, provide and receive feedback on code.
- Strong knowledge of software architecture methodologies.
- Experience with ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework, or EF Core
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, SASS, TypeScript, Telerik Kendo, jQuery, Bootstrap
- Experience writing and maintaining automated tests using MSTest or xUnit
- Experience with the Atlassian suite of products
- Experience with GIT, Bit Bucket, Jenkins
- Experience with Server Management Studio
- Experience with web security
- Experience with Scala, Erlang, SmallTalk, AKKA or the actor-model pattern is a plus.
- Experience with Jenkins or equivalent CI/CD tool
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $112,500-$209,500. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, and Vermont is $129,500-$240,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
