Job Description:

 

The Lead Architect will be responsible for design, implementation, and maintenance of custom customer facing applications in the Communications Systems business segment. The incumbent will support the existing Premier System production footprint, design enhancements, and implement new solutions as dictated by the business. They will also aid in the successful transition from the current platform on to an industry standard solution. This position will require deep knowledge of the Premier System and our business processes in technical customer service and trade compliance.

 

Essential Functions:

 

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and managed service support personnel to design, configure, and test Premier solutions, providing expert guidance on best practices.
  • Support the implementation of additional functionality for large Premier projects, including system upgrades, enhancements and patches.
  • Recommends, develops, and documents effective value-add processes and procedures that ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Build strong internal & external customer relationships by aligning system solutions to our changing business requirements.
  • Stay current with new technologies and best practices.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the development and functional teams.
  • Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of the Premier application.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to system architecture, design, and processes.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in technical development and solution design, with a proven track record of successful project implementations and support.

 

Preferred Additional Skills:

 

  • Experience with system integrations.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex business requirements and design effective ERP solutions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and cross functional teams at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience with Trade Compliance.
  • Experience with Joomla.
  • Experience with development of technical solutions to complex problems and driving implementation.
  • Exposure to project management methodologies, including waterfall and Agile.

 

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $119,500-$222,500. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, and Vermont is $104,000-$193,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
