Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Active Directory and Entra ID Administrator to support a large, multi-domain, multi-tenant, multi-national identity environment for a major defense contractor. The role involves daily operational support of identity infrastructure, ongoing migration, consolidation, and divestiture tasks, as well as other identity-related projects. Essential Functions:
- Operate and administer Active Directory and supporting directory services and identity services toolsets.
- Operate and administer Azure AD/Entra ID, including cloud identity management, identity syncrhonization from on-prem AD, Windows Hello, conditional access policies, and federation of identities for access to external applications.
- Operate and administer Optimal IDM, ADLDS, ADFS, Azure AD Connect, and other identity-related solutions.
- Support Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM) sync services including setup, troubleshooting, configuring management agents, and rules extensions. May include development of custom code for rules extensions.
- Support Quest Active Roles Server (ARS) including setup, troubleshooting, and configuration of policies, workflows, and access templates.
- Build, troubleshoot, and configure multi-domain enterprise AD environments and multi-tenant Azure/Entra ID environments.
- Support acquisition, divestiture, and integration activities.
- Support AD forest/domain migration work using various toolsets.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve identity and directory services issues.
- Conduct root cause analysis for problems as necessary.
- Assess infrastructure regularly to ensure it meets necessary demands.
- Develop and use PowerShell scripts for process automation.
- Develop new strategies and IT procedures to increase efficiency, enhance workflow, and improve customer satisfaction.
- Offer recommendations for improvements to processes, systems, solutions, or products to enhance the performance and reliability of identity and directory services.
- Must be able to obtain a security clearance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Sciences, or an equivalent IT-related degree and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
- 6+ years of experience supporting Active Directory.
- 3+ years of Microsoft Azure AD/Entra ID administration experience.
- 2+ years experience with Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM) sync services or another identity synchronization tool.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Must be able to obtain a security clearance.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience working in highly secure computing environments.
- Willingness to keep data and information strictly confidential.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $94,000-$175,000. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, and Vermont is $82,500-$153,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
