About the role

L3Harris IMSA are seeking a Field Engineer to support the NDS Program at our Sydney location. The purpose of a Field Engineer is to provide technical support for projects, commercial customers and in service support functions. Duties will be include, but not be limited to; Performing job safety analysis; travelling to customer vessels/rigs as required for trials, field service, installations and operator training; liaising with customers to investigate issues and analyze problems; produce set to work testing reports.

This position requires you to be able to get DCAC and gain access to defence bases as necessary.

• Electronics/electrical qualification
• First Aid certificate
• Relevant techncial experience
• Willing and able to work at sea - experience preferable
• Ability to travel interstate when required and flexibility with hours
• Strong communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• You will have the ability to hold and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance
