Job Description:

L3Harris Technologies has an opening for Battle Space Intelligence Analyst members for an important national security program.

The engineer will support a high performing team of Government and Contractor professionals to monitor, analyze, assess, and deliver – mission status, courses of action, anomaly investigation, and decision support information to senior decision makers in support of the Space Warfighting Mission. The engineer will be pivotal in supporting the health and safety of multiple ground and space assets and the infrastructure nodes. The engineer will have experience with space operations, COA and TTP execution, and the Space Warfighting mission. The successful candidate will also have demonstrated the ability to operate in a dynamic and high energy environment with constantly changing tasking and priorities. This position will be supporting the Space Superiority Business Division of the Space Superiority and Geospatial Sector within the Space and Airborne Systems Segment.

Essential Functions:

 

  • Work full time at a customer site
  • Maintain awareness of threats to space operations and high-interest events.
  • Conducting research and analysis on counterspace threats, and associated vulnerabilities to support systems.
  • Generate, share, present briefings and products for senior leadership and enterprise awareness.
  • Generating a daily Intelligence and Operations Summary briefing that conveys the current global  situation, national security priorities, counterspace threats, GEOSPATIAL intelligence, foreign launch activity, adversary weapons characterizations, and other information.
  • Developing Weekly Intelligence Summary, and Activity Reports.
  • Managing the Operations Highlight process in support of daily Intelligence and Operations Summary briefing, monthly all-hands, and Quarterly Program Reviews (QPRs) Support Joint Targeting Working Groups/ Coordination Boards, as needed.
  • Generating and managing intelligence collection and analysis requests through Space Collections Working Group, SOCC Sensor Collection Request, National MASINT Requirements System, COLISEUM, or similar requests.
  • Coordinating with other intel community members on intelligence needs.
  • Support onboarding of new and enhanced tools.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
  • Satellite operations experience.
  • Active Top Secret clearance with CI Poly required.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Experience with basic orbital mechanics.
  • Experience with DoD/intel spacecraft and missions.
  • Space intelligence analyst experience preferred.
  • All source analysis preferred.
  • Experience working for or with other intel community organizations.

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is 104,500 - 193,500. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, and Vermont 90,500 - 168,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
