L3Harris Technologies has an opening for Astrodynamics Engineer for an important national Security Program.

The successful candidate will support a high performing team of Government and Contractor professionals to monitor, analyze, assess, and deliver – mission status, courses of action, anomaly investigation, and decision support information to senior decision makers in support of the Space Warfighting Mission. The candidate will be pivotal in supporting the implementation of national policies and generation of technical assessments to support policy decisions. The successful candidate will have experience with space operations, COA and TTP execution, and the Space Warfighting mission. The successful candidate will also have demonstrated the ability to operate in a dynamic and high energy environment with constantly changing tasking and priorities. This position supports the Space Superiority Business within the Space Systems sector.


Essential Functions:
•    Work full time onsite at job location
•    Maintain awareness of threats to space operations and high-interest events
•    Operate and perform analysis in STK and other commercial and government-developed tools
•    Generate, share, present briefings and products for senior leadership and enterprise awareness
•    Support onboarding of new and enhanced tools
•    Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned
•    Create, coordinate, and release operational messages


Qualifications:
•    Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
•    Active Top Secret SCI clearance with CI Poly required


Preferred Additional Skills:
•    Familiarity with basic orbital mechanics
•    Familiarity with DoD/NRO spacecraft and missions
•    Experience using astrodynamics tools such as STK, GMAT, and ODTK is a plus
•    Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite programs, MS Word, Excel and 
PowerPoint
•    Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado is $80,500 to $149,500.00. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
