Job Description:
The Production Planner interfaces with multiple departments and organizations and is primarily responsible for ensuring project deliverables are completed on schedule.

Essential Functions:
- Communicate, Coordinate, and Negotiate workflow through multiple work centers via various functional organizations to secure needed resources while ensuring changing customer demands, and schedule deadlines are met.
- Provide assistance to production floor in resolving production issues.
- Expedite flow of materials, parts, and assemblies within or between departments in accordance with production and shipping schedules.
- Monitor order status, including material status, managing WIP areas, location accuracy, inventory discrepancies, manufacturing and program support, and communication support.
- Ensure availability of materials to meet production requirements and delivery commitments. Assists with resolving material shortages, backlogs and other potential schedule interruptions.
- Lead schedule meetings for main production area.
- Assist Sr. planners with daily tasks and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
- Minimum 1 year of production planning experience
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint)
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Top Secret clearance preferred
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems is preferred.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California is $59,000-$110,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
