Job Description:
Seeking a Subcontract Administrator to manage subcontract activities in support of U.S. Government programs. Responsibilities include issuing RFPs, negotiating terms, ensuring FAR/DFARS compliance, and maintaining subcontract documentation. The role supports proposal efforts, CPSR readiness, and subcontractor performance across cost-type and fixed-price efforts.
Essential Functions:
- Prepare, issue, and administer subcontracts in support of U.S. Government contracts, including RFP development, negotiations, execution, and closeout
- Ensure all subcontracting activities are compliant with FAR, DFARS, internal policies, and customer requirements
- Conduct price analysis, support audits, and develop documentation for CPSR readiness
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to support program timelines, procurement planning, and risk mitigation efforts
- Manage subcontractor performance, including deliverables, schedule adherence, and issue resolution
- Maintain accurate subcontract files and documentation in accordance with company procedures
- Participate in proposal activities and support the development of compliant and competitive supplier strategies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Clearance if desired
- 3+ years of subcontract administration experience with government contracts
- Strong working knowledge of FAR and DFARS
- Strong Supplier/Program coordination skillset
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California State is $90,000 - $167,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
