Job Description:
The Senior Supervisor, Operations Management role directs the implementation of 2nd shift activities in production to meet goals for safety, quality, cost, and delivery; manages 2nd shift operations including assembly and test; oversees procedures, budgets, capital expenditures, and labor; and ensures compliance with legal and safety standards.
This role will oversee a small team, that will expand in size in the forseeable future.
Essential Functions:
- Provide direction and coordination for 2nd shift operations team members.
- Facilitate production meetings and status reporting.
- Execute production plans. Work cross-functionally with all departments and leaders.
- Ensure compliance with legal and safety standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
- Secret clearance is required, at the time of higher.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Top Secret clearance is preferred.
- Understands basic supervisory approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, and process execution.
- Requires practical knowledge of technical or operational practices within assigned discipline.
- Continuous improvement involvement
- Experience overseeing complex electronics assembly and test tasks
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $76,500 - $141,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
