Job Schedule: 2nd Shift, 9/80 (employee's work 9 out of every 14 days - totaling 80 hours worked - and have every other Friday off)

 

Job Description:

Responsible for conducting full Acceptance Testing of Space or TACSATCOM products using established test procedures. This position will utilize test equipment which includes but not limited to oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, DMM, power supply, network analyzer, signal generators, and automated test equipment. Position requires the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with focus on quality and attention to detail. Other tasks will include troubleshooting, plus reviewing and updating test procedures.

 

Essential Functions:

·         Ability to read schematic diagrams, electronic assembly drawings, engineering change orders, test procedures and rework documents.

·         Perform Acceptance Testing (i.e. vibration simulation, thermal cycles, and thermal vacuum) on flight hardware by following a specified test procedure.

·         Test and troubleshoot RF, digital and/or analog top assemblies with little or no supervision.

·         Strong working knowledge of basic electronic theory and electronic test equipment (i.e. spectrum analyzer, oscilloscopes, power supply, etc.).

·         Interface with Engineers for new product implementation or design issues.

·         Demonstrate computer literacy.

·         Lift 25lbs–50lbs of test equipment with assistance.

·         Fully proficient individual contributor. Works under limited supervision.

 

Required Qualifications (one of the following):

·         Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience.

·         2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience or equivalent military electronics training/background.

 

Preferred Additional Skills:

·         Requires developing job knowledge/skills.

·         Demonstrate familiarity with ERP systems and the ability to accurately access, review, and update production-related information, including work orders, labor entries, material transactions, and process documentation.

·         Demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams, and related Office applications to support daily communication, documentation, data entry, and coordination of production activities.

 

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $47,500 - $88,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
