L3Harris is seeking an experienced VoIP/Call Manager Engineer to join our team supporting a collateral classified environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with call managers, VoIP phones, and Video Teleconferencing (VTC) systems. This role requires a deep understanding of Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements to ensure the highest levels of security and compliance.
Essential Functions:
- Design, configure, deploy, and maintain VoIP and VTC systems in a classified environment.
- Implement and manage call manager setups, ensuring reliable VoIP communication across the organization.
- Oversee the integration and configuration of VoIP phones and related peripherals.
- Administer VTC infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation for all conferencing needs.
- Ensure all systems meet RMF requirements, conduct regular audits and compliance checks.
- Coordinate with IT security teams to enforce security protocols and safeguard communication systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve VoIP and VTC issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of systems, configurations, and processes.
- Provide user training and support for VoIP and VTC systems.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and recommend improvements to existing systems.
- Prepare for and participate in government security assessments and audits.
- Utilize/maintain multiple security databases and sites including SIMS and eMASS.
- Conduct vulnerability and compliance assessments against systems and networks to determine risk posture.
- Review electronic and manual audit logs and investigate any anomalies or security incidents.
- Assist in security investigations and incident response.
- Coordinate with the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) and Facility Security Officer (FSO) on system security compliance.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Active SECRET security clearance at time of hire.
- Proven experience with call managers, VoIP systems, and VTC in a classified environment.
- 8570\8140 IAM Level 1, or higher, compliant certification (Security+).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF) and security compliance.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure and protocols.
- Familiarity with the Risk Management Framework and its application in securing IT systems.
- Strong understanding of RMF and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in configuring, deploying, and maintaining VoIP infrastructures.
- Experience with Cisco Call Manager and other leading VoIP technologies.
- Solid knowledge of network protocols, firewalls, and security measures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience establishing and maintaining Cisco Call Manager and VTC
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or higher certification.
- Experience with encryption technologies and secure communication protocols.
- Background in cybersecurity practices and principles.
- Previous experience with RMF as Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) or Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO)
- Experience with tools such as ACAS (Nessus), STIGViewer, SCAP, and Splunk.
- Experience as a Linux System Administrator.
- Experience with NISPOM, DAAG, JSIG, ICD.
- Network+, CCNA, CISSP, RHCSA Certifications.
- Direct and relevant experience with Information Security and Cyber Intelligence working in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment.
