We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Master Plumber / Mechanical Technician to join our Facilities team as the Sr. Supervisor of Industrial & Process Systems. This critical role involves overseeing and managing the plumbing, mechanical, operations, logistics, and transportation teams to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of all industrial and process systems within our facilities. The Sr. Supervisor will play a pivotal role in maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational excellence. As the Sr. Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a diverse team of skilled professionals, ensuring that all systems and processes are maintained and operated to the highest standards. You will develop and implement strategies to optimize performance, enhance productivity, and drive continuous improvement across all areas of responsibility. Your expertise in plumbing and mechanical systems, combined with your strong leadership and project management skills, will be essential in achieving our operational goals.

Essential Functions:

  • Supervise and lead the plumbing, mechanical, operations, logistics, and transportation teams, providing direction, support, and mentorship.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve team performance, operational efficiency, and overall productivity.
  • Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of all plumbing and mechanical systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively.
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to identify and address potential issues before they escalate
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to plumbing and mechanical systems, utilizing your technical expertise and problem-solving skills.
  • Oversee logistics and transportation activities, ensuring the smooth and efficient movement of materials and equipment.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to streamline operations and enhance productivity.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing best practices.
  • Plan, execute, and oversee projects related to plumbing, mechanical, and operational systems, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics, using data-driven insights to drive improvements.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and services. Evaluate vendor performance, negotiate contracts, and manage service agreements.

 

Required Qualifications:

  •  Bachelor’s Degree with minimum of 4 years relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
  • Valid Master Plumber license or certification as required by the state or local jurisdiction
  •  Valid driver’s license

 Preferred Additional Skills: 

  • Understand basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching and process execution.
  • Rocky Mountain Gas Association (RMGA) Certification. 
  • Experience working with commercial kitchen equipment.
  • Experience with advanced commercial plumbing and mechanical technologies and systems.
  • Experience working in a large-scale industrial or commercial facility.
  • Proficiency in using maintenance management software (e.g., CMMS), project management tools, and other relevant software applications
  •  Experience in developing and delivering training programs for technical staff.

Work Environment:

  • This position requires working both indoors and outdoors, sometimes in extreme temperatures.
  • The role may involve standing, walking, and climbing ladders for extended periods.
  • Must be available for on-call duty and respond to emergencies outside of regular working hours rotating through group setting.
