Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Specialist, Program Mgmt to support our Tactical Data Link Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Repairs and Sustainment activities, with a proven track record of managing complex programs and delivering results on time and within budget.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Develop and execute program plans that include schedules, milestones, procurement, logistics, and resource allocation.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to ensure successful program execution from initiation to closure.
  • Manage customer relationships, including regular updates and negotiations.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and company policies and procedures.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Coordinate with engineering, supply chain, quality assurance, and other departments to resolve technical and logistical issues.
  • Monitor program performance against plans and make necessary adjustments to meet objectives.
  • Prepare and present program status reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Manage program budget, including tracking expenditures and forecasting costs.
  • Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure program success.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 6 years of relevant program management experience, Graduate Degree with a minimum of 4 years of related program management experience, or 10 years of prior related program management experience in lieu of a degree.

Preferred Additional Skills: 

  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage large, multidisciplinary teams.
  • Knowledge of forecasting, bids and proposals, milestone scheduling, PM tools, and financial management.
  • Experience supporting government contractors, DOD, or aerospace companies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of FAA, EASA, and other regulatory body requirements related to MRO activities.
  • Ability to travel as required to support program objectives.
