Job Description:

L3Harris is hiring for a Software Engineer in the Test Engineering organization to develop automated tests for product testing.

 Essential Functions:

·       Develop automated test

·       Familiar with NI TestStand and LabVIEW programming language

·       Work closely with hardware and system engineers in Test Engineering team

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience

Preferred Additional Skills:

·       An ABET (EAC/CAC) accredited Bachelor's with a year of experience in an Engineering discipline (preferably Software Engineering) experience

·       Understanding of engineering process and design concepts along with an understanding of the engineering practices and procedures required to develop, test and deploy test systems

·       Presentation and communication skills (verbal/written/visual)

·       Effective problem solving skills and the ability to meet critical deadlines

·       Demonstrate experience with planning and effectively coordinating projects

·       Experience with LabVIEW and TestStand development

·       Experience with source code control

·       Understanding of software practices and L3Harris programs and products

·       Have analytical, project management and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail

·       Excellent computer skills with a strong proficiency in Windows interface, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Microsoft Project
