Job Description:

 

L3Harris is seeking a Program Manager to lead program execution and proposal efforts in support of the Common Data Links – International business area. The Program Manager is responsible for the cost, schedule, resources, and performance of assigned programs, as well as leading responses to customer quote requests. The role requires strong leadership, team building, and communication skills to establish trust with internal teams, customers, and peers, and to communicate with confidence through regular presentations and status updates to leadership.

 

Essential Functions:

 

  • Leverage core program management skills to drive successful outcomes.
  • Direct all phases of assigned programs from inception through completion.
  • Lead program execution to achieve key business and financial (P&L) objectives.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all program and proposal activities, leading reviews to assess cost, schedule, technical performance, and risk.
  • Manage relationships with international customers, prime contractors, and in-country representatives.
  • Oversee key performance indicators related to cost, schedule, and technical performance across all program life-cycle phases, from development through operations.
  • Ensure accurate budget management, financial execution, and forecasting.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and company policies and procedures.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.

 

Preferred Additional Skills:

 

  • Knowledge of communication and data link products.
  • Ability to lead and build relationships with geographically dispersed teams.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in one or more additional languages.
