Job Schedule: 2nd Shift - 9/80 (employee's work 9 out of every 14 days - totaling 80 hours worked - and have every other Friday off)

 

Job Description:

This person will contribute to the company’s success by manufacturing a variety of LRU (Line Replaceable Units), circuit card assemblies (CCAs) and components. This role will report directly to the Manufacturing Supervisor and is responsible for successfully manufacturing L3Harris products for delivery or repair.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Manufactures electromechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies, including circuit cards, cable/harnesses, and various other electronic products while ensuring compliance with required performance specifications
  • Ability in multiple electronics manufacturing processes, including component level soldering, torque tools, and ESD practices.
  • Sets up a variety of manufacturing apparatus, and completes assembly following methods, procedures, standards, and operations sequences
  • Ability to work from both oral and written instructions, engineering drawings, and blueprints
  • Participate in process improvement activities in both test and manufacturing
  • Support OT (nights, weekends, extended hours) as needed to meet schedule requirements and business needs
  • Other responsibilities as assigned by Management
  • This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain Secret security clearance.  Security clearances may only be granted to U.S. citizens. 
  • In addition, applicants who accept a conditional offer of employment may be subject to government security investigation(s) and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

 

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience.
  • 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.

 

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Knowledgeable with Microsoft suite and personal computing devices.
  • Proficient in component level soldering.
  • Knowledge performing functional testing of electromechanical assemblies.
  • Active/Current IPC/J-STD certifications.
