Job Description
As a Manufacturing Technician B, you will support a wide range of manufacturing activities that ensure the delivery of high‑quality parts, components, and assemblies used in mission‑critical systems. In this developing‑level role, you will work under general supervision and collaborate closely with engineers, technicians, and production teams to carry out setup, calibration, troubleshooting, and quality testing tasks.
You will apply growing technical knowledge to identify and solve routine production problems while following established procedures. This position offers the opportunity to build hands‑on experience in a high‑technology environment that supports global aerospace and defense programs.
Essential Functions
- Perform setup, calibration, rework, and troubleshooting tasks in support of manufacturing operations.
- Assist engineers with production tasks across parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
- Collect and analyze operating data using software tools to support on‑line adjustments to products or equipment.
- Contribute to developing or refining methods and procedures used in the manufacturing process.
- Follow established processes and escalate issues to supervisors when needed.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant manufacturing experience, or an Associate Degree with 0–2 years of related experience.
- Developing technical skills with the ability to perform tasks under general supervision.
- Ability to follow defined procedures and identify issues in straightforward situations.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
Preferred Additional Skills
- Familiarity with manufacturing software tools or data‑collection systems.
- Experience performing mechanical or electronic troubleshooting.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, team‑oriented production environment.
- Interest in improving manufacturing processes and solving technical problems.
