Job Description:

The Manufacturing Technical Lead develops and delivers technical training for manufacturing personnel, creating course content and lesson materials from current product and process documentation. Working under general supervision, this role provides both classroom and hands-on instruction, collaborates across departments to ensure training reflects up-to-date operational practices, and conducts follow-up assessments to confirm training effectiveness and alignment with organizational needs.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Develop and deliver technical training programs for manufacturing personnel daily
  • Create training programs and conduct training sessions/workshops to ensure team skill development and readiness for daily operations and growth
  • Work with process engineers on identifying and implementing products or process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality
  • Support prototype-to-production transition through training content development
  • Conduct follow-up assessments on training effectiveness to ensure learning objectives are met and aligned with organizational needs
  • Ensure training supports area compliance and operational excellence across manufacturing operations
  • Provide training related to tool and chemical handling requirements to maintain safety and regulatory compliance

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.

 

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Strong leadership skills to guide production transitions, train team members, and support cross-functional collaboration
  • Expertise in developing, writing, and implementing manufacturing processes and work instructions
  • Proficiency in tool control, chemical handling, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards
  • Ability to conduct effective training sessions and develop training materials for technical and operational tasks
  • Strong project management skills, including managing prototype-to-production transitions and special projects
  • Ability to collaborate with process engineers to identify and implement product or process improvements
