Position Summary:
The Program Manager for Next Generation Jammer and Electronic Warfare Programs is responsible for shaping and driving Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), capturing new business opportunities, and managing proposals. This role involves leading cross-functional teams, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring the successful execution of programs to meet organizational goals and customer requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
ECP Management:
- Design, develop, and document detailed ECPs specific to the Next Generation Jammer program.
- Lead the development, review, and approval process for Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs).
- Ensure all ECPs align with project goals, technical requirements, and budget constraints.
- Coordinate with engineering teams to assess the impact of proposed changes on project scope, schedule, and cost.
Proposal Management:
- Lead the development and submission of high-quality proposals in response to customer solicitations.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and ensure proposals meet customer requirements and deadlines.
- Review and refine proposal content to ensure clarity, compliance, and competitiveness.
Program Management:
- Oversee projects within the Next Generation Jammer and Electronic Warfare programs, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Monitor program performance and implement corrective actions as needed to address any issues or risks.
- Communicate program status, milestones, and deliverables to senior management and stakeholders.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the effectiveness and comprehensiveness of ECPs and program strategies.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all ECP-related activities, and proposal submissions.
- Understand existing Voice of the Customer and recognize Customer needs that tie to L3H technologies.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Program Management, or a related field (advanced degree preferred)
- 7+ years of experience in program management, business development, or a related field within the defense or aerospace industry
- Experience developing and implementing effective ECPs, capturing new business, and managing proposals
Preferred Qualifications:
- US Navy EA-18G pilot or EWO, AEA or EW experience a plus
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of Next Generation Jammer and Electronic Warfare technologies and markets
- Project Management Professional (PMP), Shipley Capture Management or similar certifications preferred
