Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and Facilities Maintenance Mechanic Technician with a strong focus on electromechanical systems maintenance, controls, automation, and HVAC/plumbing skills. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of manufacturing process equipment, kitchen equipment, welding/fabrication, generator maintenance, engine/fleet maintenance, and more. This role requires a proactive individual with a solid technical background and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Essential Functions:
Perform routine and preventive maintenance on electromechanical systems, including troubleshooting and repairs.
Maintain and repair controls and automation systems to ensure efficient and reliable operation of manufacturing process equipment.
Conduct maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems and plumbing to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
Service and maintain kitchen equipment to ensure functionality and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Perform welding and fabrication tasks as needed for equipment repair and modification.
Conduct generator maintenance, including routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs.
Maintain and repair engines and fleet vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
Collaborate with other maintenance personnel and departments to resolve complex issues and improve equipment reliability.
Use the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to schedule and track the completion of on-demand, emergency, and preventive maintenance work orders.
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance and reduce downtime.
Willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays, as part of an on-call rotation.
This position requires working both indoors and outdoors, sometimes in extreme temperatures.
The role may involve standing, walking, and climbing ladders for extended periods.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent, and minimum 6 years of relevant experience, or;
Associate degree/technical certification, and minimum 2 years of related experience.
Valid drivers license.
Preferred Additional Skills:
Rocky Mountain Gas Association (RMGA) Certification
Experience working with commercial kitchen equipment.
Experience with advanced commercial plumbing and mechanical technologies and systems.
Able to assist with plumbing, mechanical, electrical and HVAC equipment.
Knowledge of HVAC systems and plumbing maintenance.
Proficiency in welding and fabrication techniques.
Experience with generator maintenance and engine/fleet maintenance.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
