Essential Functions

  • Field costing related questions from the business and auditors (both internal and external) including the analysis of pegging and costs movements.
  • Perform journal entries, general ledger account analysis and reconciliations related to inventory.
  • Improve upon inventory reporting, including cost analysis at the material part level, labor and recalculation of G&A and overhead.
  • Consolidate, analyze, and report inventory balances by product line and perform detailed monthly variance analysis as well as Quarterly Balance Sheet classification (RM, WIP & FG)
  • Strong internal control focus, including updating control documentation, supporting internal and external audits.
  • Actively seek opportunities to streamline assigned processes and cross-train with peers.
  • Assist in project management activities and ad hoc analysis as required.
  • Provide support and collaborate with Procurement and Operations as needed.

 

Basic Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.

 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Relevant experience in cost accounting or operations/manufacturing environment. 
  • Strong SAP expertise with an understanding of pegging and distribution in a complex manufacturing or logistics environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
