Job Description:
L3 Harris is seeking a Lead Facility Engineer to join our company at the Sacramento Campus. You will engage in all types of tasks, from Office Moves to Large scale Construction projects. We seek someone with strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills. Highly organized and detail oriented. Come join the “Trusted Disrupter” of the industry.
Essential Functions:
- Working with stakeholders to facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
- Define project tasks and resource requirements
- Manage project resource allocation and budgets
- Plan and schedule project timelines
- Track project cost/deliverables using appropriate metrics
- Monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders and management
- Project commissioning and customer handoff
- Acts as the Facility liaison to Facility landlord to support interest and goals of both Corporations
- Conducts reviews with plant SH&E and quality experts to develop solutions for safety and quality related problems
- Works with in-house trades and contractors to optimize equipment performance and minimize downtime
- Updates Facility drawings – PDF, AutoCAD, MicroStation
- Act as the Construction Coordinator on Facility Projects
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Experienced in Capital and OHD spend projects and Construction Management, Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint. – Working knowledge with MicroStation CAD design program would be preferred, as well as proficiency with AutoCAD to direct designs and drafters in the development of full-scale project plans.
- Space Planning experience
- Knowledge of Electrical, Plumbing and Building Codes
- Knowledge of Network infrastructure
- OSHA 510 training or similar
- P.E Certification
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in CA is $108,000 - $201,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
