Job Description:
The Senior Manager, Human Resources, is responsible for developing and executing strategic people initiatives to optimize the Advanced Solutions Group (ASG) & Strategic Growth Group (SGG) divisions within the Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) Sector.
ASG specializes in modifying business jets into ISR platforms and sustaining those fleets through the entire lifecycle. This role will support the Program Management office, which is dispersed through the United States and International. The Senior Manager will partner with division leadership to develop and implement HR strategies focused on growth and execution. This role will report to the ISR Vice President, Human Resources.
Essential Functions:
- Directly support assigned leaders and employees, and partners with other business leaders, HR Business Partners, and Center of Excellence to implement strategic initiatives to drive business growth and improve organizational capability.
- Implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the functional HR team, in alignment with organizational priorities.
- Provide consultative support to HR workstreams, ensuring they effectively meet the needs of HR and employees.
- Analyze HR data and insights to identify opportunities for improvement, set strategic priorities and inform decision-making.
- Provides change management leadership.
- Applies strategic approach to verbal and written communications.
- Play a significant role in administering talent management and succession planning activity within client organization.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 12 years of prior relevant experience as a HR Business Partner.
- Graduate Degree and a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience as a HR Business Partner.
- Demonstrated experience with talent management and succession planning activity within client organization.
- Demonstrated experience working within a Center of Excellence environment.
- Demonstrated experience developing/implementing process improvements to enhance the efficiencies across the functional HR team.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Experience supporting international or off-site US based populations.
- Broad knowledge of human resources functions, including compensation; leadership development; engagement; diversity and inclusion; people analytics; HR operations; and talent acquisition.
- Experience in both HR specialist and generalist roles.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, writing, proofreading and organizational skills.
- Must be detail-oriented and possess good follow-through.
