Job Description:

The successful candidate for the Engineering Finance Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the Mission Critical Communications segment by delivering insightful analytics and recurring financial reporting to drive informed decision‑making. This role partners closely with Engineering and cross-functional teams to provide proactive support, ad‑hoc analysis, and project-driven insights. Essential Functions:

• Manage Trackers for forecasting and actuals reporting, including CSDPlan uploads and analysis.  Liaison with Eng. Teams for forecasting on PG02, PG05, PG07, PG14, running monthly Product Group Financial Reviews non assigned groups.  Provide analysis and cost research as required.
• Provide Checkpoint financials for assigned Product Groups
• Roll trackers, submit IWAs and open/close projects for assigned Product Groups
• Special projects, ad hoc reporting, backup tasks as needed
• Sustaining Engineer Reporting/Analysis (backup)
• OT reporting, NPRD reporting, LMSO Pivot, and Loaned Labor reporting (as backup)
• Outsourcing Master Tracker (backup)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Experience supporting engineering, R&D, or technology-driven project portfolios preferred.
• Experience with advanced analytics, and/or data automation preferred.
• Proficiency with enterprise reporting tools such as Power BI highly desired

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New York state is $57,500 - $107,500.  This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
