Job Description: Quality Engineer with Data Analytics Experience

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in machine learning, data analysis, artificial intelligence, and preferably statistics. This position requires a motivated and detail-oriented individual with excellent problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough root cause analysis (RCA) to identify and resolve quality issues.
  • Develop and implement data-driven solutions to improve product quality and manufacturing processes.
  • Utilize advanced data analytics techniques to monitor and analyze key quality metrics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are met throughout the production process.
  • Apply machine learning and artificial intelligence methods to enhance predictive maintenance and quality assurance processes.
  • Create comprehensive reports and presentations on quality performance and improvement initiatives.
  • Assist in the development and execution of quality control plans and procedures.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects to optimize manufacturing efficiencies. 

Qualifications: 

  • To be eligible, applicants must be pursuing a Master of Science in Computer Science (MSCS), Master of Science in Data Science (MSDS), or Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence (MSAI) or related field or have completed their Master's degree within the last 12 months, regardless of age.  

 

Preferred Skills: 

  •  Extensive experience in machine learning, data analysis, and artificial intelligence.
  • Strong knowledge of statistical analysis and its application in quality engineering.
  • Proficiency in using data analytics tools and platforms (e.g., Python, R, SQL, Tableau).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems (QMS) standards and methodologies.
  • Lean or six sigma knowledge
  •  

 

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $62,000 - $115,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
