Job Description:

  • Responsible for scum master activities for 3 development teams in Integration & Test Group
  • Facilitator and Coach in the area of Agile Scrum for manufacturing test development.
  • Gathers / collect / monitors / reviews scrum metrics and obtains feedback from team.
  • Recommends enhancements to test development team, systems, and processes.
  • Assists team / product engineers / solution owners w/ product backlog and grooming of stories.
  • Communicates with stakeholders inside and outside of own department or team to explain and interpret operational processes, practices, and procedures.
  • Works to proactively manage risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies, ensuring that they are identified, coordinated, mitigated or escalated as necessary
  • Removes team roadblocks and facilitates meetings for the team.
  • Works to achieve operational targets for specific programs and projects with moderate impact on departmental results.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts and standard work through all development teams.
  • Monitor and drive e3 initiatives for test engineering organization.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop new test strategies and implement test solutions for new products.
  • Support delivery of new products to our manufacturing facility.
  • Positive attitude, openness to new ideas, willingness to learn new tools.
  • Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
  • 4+ years test engineering experience

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Experience with Agile Scrum development process
  • Experience with automation systems including electronic test
  • Experienced with Atlassian toolset ( JIRA and Confluence ).
  • Familiarity with NI LabView and TestStand.
  • Familiarity with MS project schedules and MS Excel.
  • Understanding of software defined radio products and communications
  • Self-starter, and able to work successfully with minimal supervision

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New York State is $79,000 - $146,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
