Job Description:

Responsible for, controlling and managing activities related to inventory control within the stockroom, receiving, shipping, expediting, dock oversite and training. Establishes and modifies operational methods and procedures/training material. Troubleshoot and rectify discrepancies and assist Supply Chain with system flow to ensure consistencies in understanding and look for process improvements to that end.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Analyze, summarize and/or review data; interpret results, report findings and/or make recommendations.
  • Contribute to the management of the organization’s inventory, shipping and receiving ensuring controls are in place to support corporate policies and procedures.
  • Provide critical financial information related to demand/build, inventory levels and revenue.
  • Manage Inventory Control related tasks that support TCOM.
  • Provide Key Performance Indicators for the organization as it relates to inventory level in stock and work in progress.
  • Monitor and review timely delivery of material in support of the sales order plan.
  • Create and roll out processes that ensure best practices are used in relation to inventory reduction.  This includes lean manufacturing concepts related to inventory reduction.
  • Support all CI initiatives related to production control and material handling.
  • Ensure the material team adheres to the inventory cycle count program and year end WIP counts.
  • Set and evaluate department measures in accordance to QCS (Quality Cost and Schedule).
  • Ensure the care, control, and safe storage of inventory is in place at all times.
  • Manage scrap material and related material control processes
  • Manage and oversee all export activities to ensure compliance with international trade regulations and standards.
  • Monitor and interpret changes in export regulations, including customs, tariffs, and trade agreements, to ensure the company's compliance.
  • Provide expert guidance on battery regulations, including safety standards, transportation, and disposal requirements.
  • Collaborate with regulatory bodies and industry groups to stay informed about the latest developments in battery regulations.
  • Prepare and submit necessary documentation for export shipments, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments related to export activities and battery compliance, and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Train and educate internal teams on export procedures and battery regulations to ensure company-wide compliance.
  • Liaise with logistics providers, customs brokers, and government agencies to facilitate smooth and compliant export processes.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, and regulatory authorities.
  • Ensure proper labeling and packaging of battery products according to international standards and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of export transactions and compliance activities for audit and reporting purposes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field and Minimum of 4 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related area.
  • In Lieu of a Degree, minimum of 8 years of prior Logistics experience.
  • Experience in logistics software and tools (WMS, TMS, ERP systems).
  • Experience in data analysis tools.
  • Preferred certifications: CSCP, CPIM, CLTD, Six Sigma.

 

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado State, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Vermont and New York State IS $64,500 - $120,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
