Job Description:

The Country of Origin Program Manager will direct all phases of programs from inception through completion. This role will drive program execution to achieve key business initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulations regarding countries of concern through our engineering and supply chain operations. The Program Manager will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to create or enhance processes that provide visibility into the country of origin (COO) at multiple tiers. Additionally, the role will focus on improving internal processes to reduce dependencies on countries of concern. These processes may involve engineering, finance, operations, PLM supply chain, and other organizations.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Program Management: Direct all phases of multiple sub-projects within the COO program lifecycle, from inception through completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory compliance.
  • Process Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and enhance processes that ensure multi-tier visibility into the country of origin (COO). Additionally, implement strategies that enable the TCOM organization to reduce its dependence on countries of concern.
  • Compliance Assurance: Ensure all program activities comply with regulations regarding countries of concern, working closely with engineering and supply chain operations.
  • Risk Mitigation: Help to identify and implement strategies to reduce dependencies on countries of concern, enhancing supply chain resilience.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact for program-related activities, leading review sessions with stakeholders to discuss progress, challenges, and solutions.
  • Resource Allocation: Ensure that all necessary resources, including engineering, manpower, subcontracts, and line items, are available to support program objectives.
  • Financial Process Adaptation: Update financial processes to reflect changes in part pricing and NRE costs, ensuring accurate tracking and integration into catalog pricing and program cost management related to COO.
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules, identifying program problems and implementing solutions.
  • Leadership: Provide leadership and direction to employees assigned to tiger teams to support the subproject activity.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the program to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance.
  • Supply Chain Engagement: Continuously engage with the supply chain to lead and align business processes, ensuring seamless integration and compliance with COO requirements.
  • Process Alignment: Work closely with supply chain teams to ensure business processes are aligned with program goals and regulatory requirements, facilitating smooth operations and effective risk management.
  • Engineering Alignment: Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure alignment on program goals, technical requirements, and compliance with COO regulations. Facilitate communication between engineering and other functional areas to resolve issues and drive program success.

Essential Functions:

  • Project Leadership: Lead and manage multiple sub-projects within the COO program, ensuring timely and successful completion.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, supply chain, finance, and other departments to ensure seamless integration and alignment with program goals.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure program continuity and success.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and report on program performance, including progress, challenges, and solutions, to senior leadership and stakeholders.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience in Program Management, Supply Chain or Engineering. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience in Program Management, Supply Chain or Engineering. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience in Program Management, Supply Chain or Engineering.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Experience managing complex programs, including development or system integration.
  • Experience in supply chain category management and/or supplier relationship management. Customer management experience is also acceptable.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement process changes effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing requirements.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Experience in briefing senior leadership.
  • Comprehensive understanding of global supply chain dynamics and practices.
  • Technical background preferred.
  • Coordinate the preparation of proposals, business plans, performance Statement of Work (SOW) and specifications, operating budgets, and financial terms/conditions of contracts.
  • Establish milestones and monitor adherence to master plans and schedules, identify program problems and obtain solutions, such as allocating resources or changing contractual specifications.
  • Direct the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing, and administrative areas

 

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado State, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Vermont and New York State IS $90,500 - $168,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
