Job Description:

L3Harris is currently seeking a Senior Associate, Program Finance for our Tactical Communications sector within our Communications Systems segment.  This role will provide comprehensive financial metrics and forecasts to program managers, finance department, and senior staff while maintaining cost and schedule controls in alignment w/profitability targets.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop, communicate, and recommend action plans with program teams to ensure financial targets and program goals are achieved; elevate critical issues/recommendations to management to ensure proactive resolution.
  • Be recognized as resident financial expert on assigned programs and contribute/lead the advancement of financial support/reporting initiatives.
  • Monitors division and department adherence to approved processes and audit requirements (support US Government audit activities).
  • Assist/support US Government pricing efforts as required to include:
    • Financial presentation of opportunities and their respective returns
    • Financial models/analysis for new products, markets, or ops
    • Comprehensive review of costs, risks, and opportunities.

Basic Qualificiations:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Experience with MS Office suite of tools, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Knowledge of and/or experience with Microsoft Project or other scheduling tools
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to prioritize, multi-task, and ensure tasks are completed on time, often requiring the initiative to develop and initiate processes to accomplish this
  • Demonstrate a strong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
  • Possess excellent communication skills, quality commitment, customer focus, strong interpersonal skills and adaptability
  • Ability to effectively interact with upper levels of management
  • Demonstrate initiative and teamwork

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New York state is $56,500 - $105,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
