Job Description:
This role supports the production team in efficiently completing work according to the production plan while ensuring high-quality results. You will collaborate with Operations Management to follow established manufacturing standards and maintain output in line with company policies and procedures. The position also encourages team members to pursue continuous improvement within their production area using available tools and serves as a key resource or subject matter expert in assigned areas.
Essential Functions:
- Fully proficient support individual contributor.
- Works under limited supervision.
- May be a resource to other employees in areas of expertise.
- Assignments are moderately difficult requiring some judgment.
- Works to achieve operational targets within job area which has moderate impact on the overall achievement of results for the team
- Identifies problems and issues in straightforward situations. Resolves most issues.
- Communicates with contacts typically within and outside the department.
Qualifications:
- Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associate’s Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions
- Ability to follow safety practices
- Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with the work team and those contacted in the course of work
- Ability to work with management, supervisor or lead personnel to prioritize work and meet critical deadlines
- Prior exposure to L3Harris products.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New York state is $41,500 - $76,500 . This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
