Job Description:

This Production Support position is essential to daily manufacturing and stockroom operations at the L3Harris facility. This role is focused on frontline leadership, workload coordination, team support, and driving execution of day-to-day operations. Candidates must be capable of leading by example, promoting safe and respectful work practices, and ensuring operational work is completed accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with established processes.

Primary duties include coordinating and prioritizing daily workload, delegating tasks to team members, following up on work completion, and helping ensure performance metrics are met. This role serves as the first line of leadership and support for team members, helping to maintain flow across the operation while partnering with cross-functional teams, vendors, suppliers, and other departments to resolve issues and keep work moving.

The position requires a strong understanding of operational processes and the ability to monitor workload, performance, and accuracy using systems and tools such as Excel, Oracle, and WMS AWL. Candidates should be comfortable reviewing data, identifying issues, solving problems, and making informed decisions that support production and stockroom goals.

This role also supports team development by coaching employees, reinforcing expectations, and helping correct performance issues through training, communication, and follow-up. This includes partnering with lower-performing team members to improve output, address gaps, and monitor progress over time. Escalation may be required when additional corrective action is needed.

Work is completed under general direction and may include responsibility for larger or moderately complex assignments. Employees in this role receive instruction on new assignments, while routine work is performed with a level of independence and is reviewed by leadership periodically.
